In 2015 a survey was sent to everyone in the village asking what they would like created to bring people together.
Many people identified they would welcome a cafe and cinema in the village.
Since starting the cinema we have screened 40 films to an average of 40 people per show. We have progressed from using a medium-sized screen to a full-sized one fitted on the wall in the Community Centre.
There is a great sound system in place, Induction Loop System, blackout blinds, and ambient lighting.
Tickets can be bought at the door.
People are encouraged to bring their own drinks and ice creams can be purchased during the interval.
Shipton Space Cinema MPLC licensing agreement only allows us to advertise film details within the village.
