From 15th to 30th May, North Yorkshire Council is celebrating ‘Love Your Local Market’ fortnight. This national UK initiative celebrates and supports the vibrant world of local markets.

North Yorkshire Council is offering the chance to try out market trading free for one day. This opportunity is open to first-time traders who want to experience running a market stall at no cost, and existing market traders who would like to try trading at a different market location operated by North Yorkshire Council.

You can choose from one of our vibrant markets in Ripon, Thirsk, Northallerton, Helmsley, Pickering and Whitby.
