New Notice Board installed!

We are so pleased to have our new notice board in situ, revealed at the Scarecrow Festival on the 29 September, 2024!
Please see guidelines below for using the Community side of the notice board:
GUIDELINES FOR USING THE
SHIPTON BY BENINGBROUGH COMMUNITY NOTICE BOARD
· This notice board is for the display of notices announcing local event or items of interest to the community only.
· Please use A5 sized notices and date all posts. Please remove any posters advertising events after the event has finished. The organisation responsible for issuing the notice must be clearly visible on the notice.
· Notices must publicise activities or events that are occurring within Shipton by Beningbrough and its immediate neighbours and have specific relevance to the community.
· To accommodate multiple notices and prevent overcrowding, content rotation will be implemented regularly. Notices may be rotated as required, depending on the volume of content and space available. The Parish Council will and remove outdated or irrelevant notices.
· All content displayed on the noticeboard must comply with legal regulations, including, but not limited to, data protection and discrimination laws. Posts will be monitored and those deemed inappropriate or in violation of these guidelines may be removed by the Parish Council.
· The Parish Council takes no responsibility for the misuse of this service.
· Any repairs or maintenance required should be reported to the Parish Clerk immediately (clerk@shiptonbybeningbroughcommunity.org.uk; 07424 470981).
· These guidelines will be reviewed at the next meeting by the Parish Council to assess its effectiveness and relevance. The Parish Council may put additional restrictions on what can be posted should it see fit due to inappropriate notices being posted.
